Announcements are admin-only posts in a Bonfyre community chat feed that send a push notification to all users. Follow the steps below to post an announcement.
- In your community, click 'Menu' in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click the 'Announcement' button.
- Click 'Add New' at the top-right corner.
- Type a title for your announcement. (30 character maximum)
- Type the message.
- Add an optional photo or video. Click here for photo or video help.
- Click 'Add Announcement' in the upper right-hand corner to deploy.
OR
- Click the orange '+' at the bottom right side of the list screen.
- Select 'Post an Announcement' .
- Select the Community you'd like to post in.
- Type in your Announcement and select 'Post'
- In your community, click 'Menu' in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click on the 'Announcement' button.
- Click 'Create New'.
- Type a title for your announcement. (30 character maximum)
- Type the message.
- Add an optional photo or video. Click here for photo or video help.
- Click 'Send Now' in the upper right-hand corner to deploy.

- Click the orange '+' at the bottom right side of the list screen.
- Select 'Post an Announcement' .
- Select the Community you'd like to post in.
- Type in your Announcement and select 'Post'
- Choose your Bonfyre community from the left-hand side.
- Click on the 'Announcement' button underneath 'Admin Tools' on the right-hand side.
- Type a title. (30 character maximum)
- Type the message.
- Add an optional photo or video. Click here for photo or video help.
- Click 'Post Announcement' to deploy.
Pro Tip
You can edit the text (not an image or video) of an announcement within 5 minutes of posting it.
